Training

Training takes place at a variety of venues across the north of Wolverhampton and on various evenings. Our main venues are shown on our ‘Venues’ page. For more details regarding exact venues, evenings and times please contact the relevant team manager via the contact form on our ‘Teams’ page.

In general, summer training takes place on grass pitches and winter training on 3G Astro pitches.

All players are required to wear football training wear (either their own personal garments or that provided by the club). This includes suitable footwear for the surface type and shin pads.

​

As with matches, no items of jewelry are permitted for safety reasons.

​

On occasions, where weather is poor or potentially a hazard to players, team managers will message parents via WhatsApp groups to notify them of any cancellations.

​

All costs for training are covered within the clubs’ monthly fees, however for players who train only with a team, a small training fee will be requested to help cover the cost of the venue and equipment.

​

Focus and content of training sessions will vary each week according to the needs of the team and players.
